I am fascinated by the way human beings express themselves within our modern system. With these creations I want to reflect the human expressions and capture the tensions of the daily routine. For instance: passion, sadness, pride with a strong gesture or a contemplative way of looking. All of these are masks that we wear in public, masks which even though they may try, do not hide the complexity of our emotional human self.

The following two large pieces are unique and vibrant, part of the newest black and white Delgado’s big size masterpieces. Part of the series “HUMAN IN THE SYSTEM”, which the artist has been developing for a few years now. This work explores a multitude of expressions and ranges of human interactions with each other, as well as with the environment. “Within the system I try to find the human elements, those subtle expressions of our emotions, experiences and stories which make us unique, and at the same time connect us to one another.” C.D.

This composition with gray tones represents the constant movement of the human being. At the end of the day the orange line put everyone together. This big size painting organically forms a visual manifestation of the human essence that draws viewers into an emotional journey that tells different stories, and yet all connected.

“The following piece is -Fiesta de Pueblo - a Serie I have been working on since last year. I challenge myself to create an abstract composition based on my perception of colour and texture. The concept comes from my roots and how I feel the energy of my town when I look to the sky and feel the joy of a celebration.”
